The Italian architect, designer, humanist, poet and painter was born in Rome in 1944 and completed his architectural studies in Rome in 1969. He then opened numerous architectural studios in Rome, Paris, Vienna, Frankfurt am Main and Shenzen. Among his best known works are the Vienna Twin Tower, the Fiera Milano, the new congress centre in Rome and the major Palais Quartier project MyZeil in Frankfurt am Main opened in 2009. In 2002 Massimiliano Fuksas became a honorary member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and in 2006 Honorary fellowship of the Royal Institute of British Architecture. In 1995 Massimiliano Fuksas won the competition for “Place des Nations” in Switzerland, Geneva.
